HOUNDSds is the product of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer Patrick McIntyre. After a decade-long hiatus, HOUNDSds returns with Old Masters of the Early Aughts, a short collection of instrumental tracks with new influences built in. To accompany his signature hazy indie-pop guitar jangle, McIntyre has added elements of Beatles-esque baroque psychedelia (Greatest Living Anglophile), '90s alternative pop (Smashing Bupkis 1989), and effervescent old-timey merry-making (New York City Tourist Rag).
