Pennsylvania-native pop-punk trio, House Exit, formed during the mainstream era of pop-punk. With a sound reminiscent of Green Day and blink-182, the group gained a small following within their hometown region during their formative years, performing full sets at smaller venues and acoustically at coffee shops.
The band was formed by frontman, guitarist and vocalist Matt Hannigan, who quickly gained support by bassist and vocalist Wayne Trump. The two quickly created a library of songs with carefully crafted lyrics and catchy choruses. The two quickly enlisted the of drummer, and Matt's high school friend, Mike Nebistinsky to pick up the rhythm. With the full lineup, the trio independently released their first demo, "Dot Dot Dot", in 2008, featuring "Feelings In My Back Pocket".
The group continued playing shows around the region in the years to follow, also slowly recording new tracks on the side. In October 2015, the band released their debut LP, "Roger That!".
