I am an ambient-electronic artist, mastering and recording engineer, and an original founding partner of the Spotted Peccary Music record label, and have been a life-long fan of this kind of music. As a mastering engineer, I have mastered many of the titles on Spotted Peccary Music as well as many releases for Steve Roach and others primarily in electronic music. And as an artist, I have collaborated with Craig Padilla, Madhavi Devi, and - as part of Brain Laughter - with Steve Roach and others, as well as appearing as a guest artist on many recordings.
This has been a creative exploration into the depth and dimension of sound and space, a vital component of ambient-electronic music, since most of the music we listen to, and create, is all about an immersive experience, where the subtleties can be as important to the composition as the primary melodic and harmonic threads. It has become a continuing pursuit of the music inside the music.
