Melbourne alt-pop trio Howlite are back after an extended pandemic-shaped hiatus, with the release of their new single ‘Still I Find’. Their first release since 2021, ‘Still I Find’ is a luscious, synth-laden anthem of resilience and positivity, inspired by Y2K electronica acts such as <a href="spotify:artist:0ucLPotcQNI7AViFytdhBz" data-name="Ladytron">Ladytron</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5BKsn7SCN2XmbF7apdCpRS" data-name="Goldfrapp">Goldfrapp</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5hE6NCoobhyEu6TRSbjOJY" data-name="Fever Ray">Fever Ray</a> and energised by dynamic performers like <a href="spotify:artist:63MQldklfxkjYDoUE4Tppz" data-name="M83">M83</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:39vA9YljbnOApXKniLWBZv" data-name="Sylvan Esso">Sylvan Esso</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3CjlHNtplJyTf9npxaPl5w" data-name="CHVRCHES">CHVRCHES</a>
Howlite have received a glowing reception from the Australian and international music community. The band have been featured in Rolling Stone Australia, Forte, The Music (and more), radio plays on triple j, Double J, 3RRR, and JOY, and their single ‘Canary’ was synced for the trailer of SBS drama series Safe Home. On stage, Howlite are a formidable force. The trio have supported the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:632WMoQfBWk76kBz7vMXNg" data-name="Walking On Cars">Walking On Cars</a> (UK), <a href="spotify:artist:51KkytVOUvaM9m0CoY9mBU" data-name="Ruby Gill">Ruby Gill</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4PeDuiJ3tM8So1Ai7c5szN" data-name="Elizabeth">Elizabeth</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5fBnEhIZ8lVR8PDpwi7Qcn" data-name="Deep Sea Arcade">Deep Sea Arcade</a> and are currently planning a slew of dates to be reunited with fans.
