HRMNY (pronounced “harmony”) is an explosive combination of two vastly different styles. Consisting of Cole Timko, who’s background in music centered around orchestral performance and melodic/electronic influences, and Alex Schmitt, who comes from a love of classic rock and progressive house as well as a great appreciation for film scores, HRMNY strives to combine as many elements of different styles to create a “harmony” which is unlike anything you’ve heard before. With a little bit of everything, their album, “Open Your Eyes” includes strong influences from classical composers stirred up with bright synths, emotional melodies, and a powerful underlying story.
