Kirk and Fred, hailing from Manila and Los Angeles respectively - formed OBLVN in 2019, stacking years of training and experience in a quest to elevate and leave an imprint on electronic music and the culture. Drawing influence from pioneers such as RL Grime, The Glitch Mob, and Flume, OBLVN represents the newest wave of hybrid bass music. Curating a soundscape inspired by synthwave, cinema, and their own cultural roots, the duo crafts their artistry in a way that always leaves a lasting impression. With their combined musical backgrounds ranging from jazz trumpet and orchestral violin to concert piano and club DJ residencies, the pair knows no bounds when it comes to versatility, range, and live performance. After making their debut with a future bass remix of SLANDER's "Love Is Gone", OBLVN has since released house, trap, and DnB remixes of other high profile tracks while gearing up for original releases, and is slated to drop a multitude of new music in 2021.
