The band of four are based in Cardiff; Osian and Charlie, as well as Dan and Rhys (formerly of the
band <a href="spotify:artist:1OAFVP8vjw1p5O6wdVx6wa" data-name="Y Promatics">Y Promatics</a> ). The band has a well-known ‘indie rock’ sound fused with pop hooks! HUDO
have started recording their new album in Sain studios during January 2023, and their first single
"Arswyd" will be released on 14 April 2023.
There was a sense of excitement and revival after the pandemic, which was the motivation needed to
form HUDO (meaning ‘to entice’ in Welsh). That idea of luring people back to places they used to go,
and to do the things they used to do is at the heart of the band’s name and vision. Hopefully people
will be able to immerse themselves in the music and forget about everything else for a minute.
