Hugo Barriol is a french singer/songwriter who began his music career busking in Sydney, Australia. Back in Paris after a year of travelling, he won the Metro Music Awards in Paris in 2015 and recorded his debut EP in 2017, the single &#34; <a href="spotify:track:7KbfRU8ToJ6PEu1rkiggzw" data-name="On the Road - Radio Edit">On the Road - Radio Edit</a> &#34; hit more than 15 million streams.

In 2019 his debut album <a href="spotify:album:0ozIWfcCUNXKl9yNL57Ke0" data-name="Yellow">Yellow</a> produced by Ian Grimble (who’s worked with <a href="spotify:artist:0nJaMZM8paoA5HEUTUXPqi" data-name="Bear&#39;s Den">Bear&#39;s Den</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7CIW23FQUXPc1zebnO1TDG" data-name="Matt Corby">Matt Corby</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3gd8FJtBJtkRxdfbTu19U2" data-name="Mumford &amp; Sons">Mumford &amp; Sons</a> etc...) came out and Hugo played more than 40 shows/ Festivals all across Europe.
2020, during the pandemic Hugo released &#34;Hey love &#34; Ep, recorded with Ian Grimble a month before lockdown.
2022, Hugo comes back with a new song Self-produced in his Paris apartment, &#34;Long way from home&#34;, inspired by the story of his friends.

« My music sounds melancholic, sometimes sad but always hopeful. I write things I don’t want to talk about. I tell stories, It can be delicate, soft, sometimes tribal, I try to be always true in my songs. »

Inspired by folk, pop, rock, indie, my music is a mix of it all.
