New York-based artist/producer, Human Lee delicately draws from memories of boyhood growing up in South Florida and his experiences as a young man to create intimate music that captures the essence of love, growth and storytelling.
Lee was first introduced to music through life-long friend and fellow artist, The Mike Wilson who together formed a rap duo that would go on to create and release music throughout their adolescent years. Later being introduced to guitar lessons in college, Lee simultaneously evolved his outlet for emotions from rapping to singing. He moved to New York City at the age of 25 after his time in South Florida came to an unceremonious end. Immersing himself in the vastly different and ever changing culture of NYC, he found both his sound and himself which led to creating singles such as “Strawberry Feels”, “Boundless Waters” and “Moonlight!”.
In June, 2020, Lee released his self-produced debut project “Almondize”, a 6 track LP that blurs lines between genres leaving his uniquely personal approach to songwriting to take center stage.
