Growing up in a quite unconventional family Kadie listened to Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles as well as to Mozart, Brahms and Vivaldi. When coming home from kindergarden and elementary school, her older brother was watching MTV and allowed her to join him. 2Pac, Akon and 50Cent were the beginning of her love for Hip Hop music as well as Destiny’s Child and Lauryn Hill have made her love R’n’B. These women seemed to be powerful and fearless, still feminine and playful - attributes she admired the most.
Besides singing loudly in her room she also played the violin and the viola for ten years until she realized that singing was all she ever wanted to do.
Her music is inspired by her history - she wants to tell real stories about love, about pain and herself, and about things that our society needs to hear such as feminism or mental illness.
Sometimes quiet and sometimes loud the girl with the 'hangover-attitude' wants to reduce the hectic pace of today’s world, to relax your facial muscles and to get your body moving softly with the help of elements out of R‘n‘B, Neo Soul, Electronic and Pop music.
