Humble Lunatic

From Humble Beginnings..

Inspired by a mix of NY Hip Hop and Horror Rap, Humble Lunatic grew up highly influenced by each style of music. His influences began with local artists such as The Lox, DMX & Biggie to name a few, and was later introduced to the Detroit rap scene.

Under the name Kurse, he got his start back in 2001 by collaborating with local Emcee's on the same mission and desire to rock the mic. Reigning from New Rochelle, NY he was exposed to Hip Hop at an early age.

In 2005 he and his group Dead Heat opened up The Main Stage for the 6th annual Gathering of the Juggalos in Garrettsville, OH after making it into the top 30 for the Underground Psychos contest hosted by Psychopathic Records.

By 2008 they went on to appear in another contest; this time hosted by King Tech and Sway for the World Famous Wake Up Show 100K Battle landing them a spot on the show.

Since then in his solo career now under the name Humble Lunatic; he went on to release 2 full length albums entitled "Humble Lunatic" & “Bad Karma” with features from KXNG Crooked, Whitney Peyton, and Sadat X of Brand Nubian amongst others. He has also appeared on collaborations with Slaine, Statik Selektah, and Lord Jamar. His newest project called “BrainXstorM” is set to release at the end of 2020.

Some of his favorite artists are Jadakiss, Eminem, 2Pac, Tech N9ne, Rittz.
