Hunters Dream, the new progressive death metal outfit from Bellingham, WA, started initially as a side project for main songwriter and guitarist, Anthony Nelson (ex-Inpathos), but eventually the pull for it to become an all consuming musical entity, as all eldritch horrors do, became too strong to deny.
After parting ways with his old group, he began tirelessly refining the musical ideas that had been festering like a musical wound for too long. After many sleepless nights and botches attempts, the Verdant EP started to take shape, and with the help of Charlie Aust from Shudderspeed, and Ross Beagan from Godeater, it finally saw the light of day.
Taking elements from styles of metal both new and old, Verdant is a swirling miasma of progressive death metal that can't be missed.
