German alt-rock band I Am Jerry was formed in 2008 by brothers Julian and Timm Kleinert along with friends Feras Kaddoura and Leonard Müller-Klönne. Over the coming years, the Sprockhövel natives slowly developed their sound, incorporating anthemic rock, hip-hop beats, electronic indie, and other elements into their music. Their national profile gained a major boost in 2011 when they won the popular Rock am Ring festival.
