I Was Born Twice

The beginnings were difficult due to the health of the leader and vocalist - Tom was diagnosed in 2012 with a malignant tumor, which took part of his lung and most feeling from the right side of his throat; this resulted in permanent speech withdrawal.
Doctors gave no promise of Tom gaining back his normal speech, so there was no talking about screaming; more importantly, no talking at all.
Tom had to develop a different method of speaking, which he has been improving over the last two years with the help of many teachers and phoniatry.
Without giving up, through trials, errors, and also arduous work, he managed to regain some of his voice. At this point, he began working on the project ‘I Was Born Twice’. The name is a reference to the change of Toms current life and perception of things, which is still speechless by medical condition.

Squad went on single session concerts and participated in tours alongside the band like: Decapitated, ProPain, Shvpes, Materia, Of Virtue, The Royal + m.m.
The band worked also with Wiesławski Brothers in Hertz Studio.

Spring 2020 was tough, despite canceling the Ukraine tour due to closed borders, most of members left the band. At the end, all changes worked perfectly as the new drummer - Jerry Hamerlak became full time member, and Tomasz Madzia joined the family too, known from "Must be the Music" semi finals. Lastly - Maciej Główka (ex Gentuza) joined the band on bass section.

2022 - NEW ALBUM - NEMIZA came out.
