Ian Ash

  Poppy, catchy, and enough hooks to fill a tackle box - Ian Ash's songs reflect the one-man work aesthetic of multi-talents like Paul McCartney and Bruno Mars; sleek, shiny, and highly accessible. Ian Ash began his music career as a teenager when the world's largest music festival, Summerfest, announced their Summerfest Pepsi Talent Search. Ash won the contest at age 13 performing an original song, and has since recorded with Grammy Award winning record producers such as Stephen Short (Chaka Khan, D.C. Talk, Augustana) and Robert Cutarella (Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Les Paul). Ian's video for “Gimme Money For Christmas” went viral, earning him a Huff Post feature. In 2019, Ash collaborated with Grammy award winning songwriter Jim Peterik (of The Ides of March, formerly of Survivor and of 38 Special Fame, co-author of “Eye of The Tiger”) on the song “True or False”, which appeared on Ash's debut release by his other project, retro-rock band The Last Bees. Ash resides in Waukesha, WI where a mural featuring a painting of Ash performing was put on permanent display in 2019.
