Idle Noise are an indie rock quartet from Coventry. The band take influence from a range of artists including <a href="spotify:artist:0epOFNiUfyON9EYx7Tpr6V" data-name="The Strokes">The Strokes</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0Ak6DLKHtpR6TEEnmcorKA" data-name="The Vaccines">The Vaccines</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:01ZP85CNi7Y9t1e0one46k" data-name="The Enemy">The Enemy</a>. With infectious hooks, stomping choruses and huge stage presence, their performances capture the audience of every show they play.
The last few years have seen them play alongside the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:6lyMYewq2SuTFIXgiv7OxH" data-name="Inhaler">Inhaler</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5fScAXreYFnuqwOgBsJgSd" data-name="The Charlatans">The Charlatans</a> & <a href="spotify:artist:0Ya43ZKWHTKkAbkoJJkwIB" data-name="The Wombats">The Wombats</a>, and be part of many impressive shows across the UK, including supporting Coventry’s own <a href="spotify:artist:2ZyiuEfjPL2s9hAaCbllnI" data-name="Tom Clarke">Tom Clarke</a> (The Enemy) at a sold out hometown show, playing their own sold out headline shows at Manchester’s iconic Deaf Institute & Coventry's HMV Empire, as well as being selected as main support to indie legends <a href="spotify:artist:4fSPtBgFPZzygkY6MehwQ7" data-name="The Libertines">The Libertines</a> at Godiva Festival; a career defining moment for the midlands four.
Since forming, every track the foursome has released has been championed on BBC Introducing radio and many other stations globally, including Amazing Radio, resulting in the indie rockers being branded ‘One of the tightest outfits in the midlands right now’. Their single ‘<a href="spotify:track:2vRtTgkiceL1Na4v2cjiP0" data-name="Death to Modern Life">Death to Modern Life</a>’ was immediately added to Spotify’s ‘<a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWT2jS7NwYPVI" data-name="New Noise">New Noise</a>’ editorial playlist in the USA upon release, an accolade the band were honoured to have achieved.
2024 sees Idle Noise heading out on a run of live dates across the UK, ready to showcase their anthemic sound and upcoming releases to new audiences and cities.
