A rising star in the modern metal sky, with a cinematic scope to their brew of modern prog metal full of majestic melodies, intricate cutting edge grooves and soaring leads reminiscent of the golden age of guitar virtuosity that grab the listener by the heart.
Founded in 2019 by singer Fabienne Erni, ILLUMISHADE has its roots in the Swiss art school ZHdK, from which all band members graduated. Things quickly took on a life of their own, leading to the release of their debut album titled ‘ECLYPTIC: Wake Of Shadows’, which spectacularly showcased the core elements of the group while telling a classic tale of light and darkness in a fantasy world that even includes several tribes.
Recent single releases have seen ILLUMISHADE move in a more modern yet intimate direction both musically and lyrically, leading up to the release of their second album, ‘Another Side Of You’.
