In Two We Break

In Two We Break is a melodic post rock power ensemble that hails from central Connecticut. All things strings are handled by long time player Bosh while drums are taken care of by Hart School of Music graduate Jimy Soprano. Long time musician and producer Michael Woods adddd the final touches to their debut release. Musically designed so friends could mix the vastly different musical backgrounds into what they claim is “a place for us to create art together”. Every release brings a variety of different outside artistic influencers.
Bosh is a self-proclaimed metal head with a history of recording Americana. Tonally Bosh takes a different approach to the genre using a seven string guitar which is traditionally thought of as an instrument for much heavier uses. Jimy mixes his jazz percussion degree with a background of punk and ska.
Gaining a unique sound wasn’t difficult with such varying influences. On one side we have the influences of Pink Floyd, Metallica, Kris Kristofferson and Joe Satriani; the flip side of the coin we have The Voodoo Glow Skulls, Blank, Blank and Blank. “Most important to me is having melodies you can remember along the way” says Bosh.
At the heart of In Two We Break is the wanton coalescence where the journey is far more important than the destination.
