Inbar Berry Rose

Born in 1976 in Netanya, Israel. Inbar has been writing songs and poetry since childhood and pursued a career as a holistic therapist before solely focusing on her music towards her 40s. Along with her spouse, Gidon Lev Eli and good friend Shaul Margalit, she has recorded and published several songs in English before deciding to focus on new material in her Hebrew mother tongue. As an owner of a small music and songwriting learning center for adults in Pardes Hana, she began to collaborate with other artists had a major opportunity when she wrote a duet for her and Israeli rock standout, Amir Lev called "The last gift" in 2021. Shortly after recording the song, she collapsed and was diagnosed with a rare Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumor. She had to undergo 3 brain sugeries and two months of radiation and chemotherapy and strict monitoring as this cancer rarely responds to standard therapy protocols.
From the moment she woke up in the hospital she began writing any chance she had until a full album by the name "Holding Your Heart on High" was formed with the help of fellow musicians and friends. The result is a moving documentation of life and the desire to fulfill oneself. The Album was released on July 18th, 2023, while she was already in the late stages of her illness. Inbar passed away a week later, on the same day her idol, Sinead O'connor did. She left 2 daughters and a husband.
