Indigo Drone se formó en el verano de 2017 entre Rich Campbell (Edinburgh, Scotland) y Stu Ridley (Sunderland, England). Actualmente ellos viven en Madrid y han incoporado otros músicos en el grupo, Oscar C. Facenda en la batería (Valencia, Venezuela) y Javier Rojas en el bajo (Huelva, Spain). Todos los integrantes han tocado previamente en diversos grupos pero finalmente coincidieron en un mismo sitio y un mismo momento: Indigo Drone.
