Music has a way of flowing through families, and for Inezi, it started right at home in Jamaica.
His father's melodies and the pulsing rhythms of the Copper Tone sound system shaped his early days, planting seeds that would grow into roots that led him to find his voice with the group H5.
After H5, Inezi found his Solo voice. Working with Teflon Zincfence proved to be a turning point, birthing gems like, No Love and Roots and Culture that found their way to listeners through BBC and iHeartRadio, carrying his message across oceans.
Inezi's creativity poured out soul-stirring tracks working along-side Swiss label Addis Record. Productions such as Rise, African Proverbs and Mind Check, The Energy with Junior Natural and Long Way Home by English label Preppie Records have reignited his music career.
His Pain and Pleasure EP produced by Global Beats Studios showcased raw emotions and vulnerability. A body of work that sets apart from his hard-core, roots-reggae persona.
2024 saw Inezi weaving his sound with some reggae's finest Sillywalks Discotheque, John John Records and Addis Records as well as Ambassador Musik, Redbridge Records, Global Beats Studios and Hotplay Records all adding their magic to his evolving repertoire, with notable singles such as Jah Jah See, Clean Livity, Cry Wolf ft. Bugle, She Needs Me, Take Control and Firm Up
