Infaust

Stillborn in the year of 2001 by Mortifer and A., INFAUST should become the Black Metal band it is until todays' darkened times, after being now over 15 years of existence in basically the same line up. After A.s way led him to other destinations, Mortifer (guit.) joined forces with Iskaremus (bass), Sadistic M. (dr.), Psycho (voc.) and L. Sturm (guit.). As these five individuals in the band, located in the German federal state of Thuringia, shared the same spirit and dedication ever since, INFAUST have developed and refined their musical direction - harsh and grim yet often melancholic guitars meet pulsating bass runs while hammering drums beat the music further, joined by Psycho's maniacal screams. In their German lyrics the band often expresses senses of disparity and resulting emotional impacts of these taking different perspectives.


After releasing three full-length albums via Eisenwald Tonschmiede, INFAUST are continuing their journey through the darkness of human minds and souls expressing despair and anger on their fourth album, roughly planned to be set free in late 2021.
