Formed in 2006, INFERI is an American technical melodic death metal band forged from the depths of Nashville, Tennessee.
After reforming in 2011, INFERI emerged onto the global stage with 'The Path of Apotheosis' in 2014. Followed by the acclaimed 2018 release 'Revenant',
which landed at #26 Hard Rock albums and #28 on the Billboard’s Heatseekers charts, solidifying them as a household name in the underground technical death metal scene. Touring across the world with bands such Rivers of Nihil, Archspire, Shadow of Intent, Cryptopsy, Signs of the Swarm, Brand of Sacrifice, Deicide and Revocation, INFERI would gain further traction. Creeping their way up the charts, and into the minds of new fans with 'The End of an Era: Rebirth' in 2019, their 'Of Sunless Realms' EP in 2020, and 2021's 'Vile Genesis'.
Now in 2026 INFERI stands ready to unleash their most devastating album to date, 'Heaven Wept'.
