Inga

Inga is a South African Afro Soul singer, producer, songwriter, pianist, guitarist& drummer from Mthatha, Eastern Cape. He is an African child with a dream, a black child with a definite destination and a passionate soul with a vision. He was born and breed in Mthatha. He first held a musical instrument; drums at the age of 4 years where he used to train himself at church. He then found greater interest in the piano at the age of 7 years and started playing as well.
His music career started in 2015, as a rapper when he released a song titled ‘Ndingubani’ followed by ‘Tryna do’.
In late 2017, he decided to embrace his vocal side and he did so by releasing an afro soul heart-felt and emotional song titled ‘Ndixakene nomhlaba’ which touched the souls of many. This song expressed the burdens and difficulties that he, as a young individual had encountered and many people related to the song.
In 2018, he released his debut album titled ‘Inyaniso’ which means the truth. Inga was nominated in 2019 Eastern Cape Music Awards (ECMAS) as Best Newcomer and Best Afro Pop which were held in East London Abbortsford Christian Centre, and he won Best Afro Pop artist award and became the 1st runner up on the Best newcomer category.
In 2019, he signed with Wisdom Entertainment Holdings and will be releasing his album titled ‘Thetha ntliziyo’ which has the current single ‘Qamata’ through Universal Music Group.
