After three years honing her craft at Leeds College of Music, Ingrid spread her wings in the summer of 2018 with the release of her hotly anticipated full-length second album. The album, ‘Kingfisher’, was funded beyond expectation through Kickstarter. Supported by her dedicated fans both in the UK and abroad, donations were streaming in from Australia to Africa and the Americas.
More recently, in the wake of global Covid-19 crisis, Ingrid released her newest single, 'Rough'. Inspired by the passing of John Prine and change and suffering throughout the world, this song resonates with a raw country tone and haunting harmonies.
Her musical style encompasses heartfelt folksy tunes that evoke the likes of Laura Marling, with her signature vocals that are often compared to icons such as Eva Cassidy and Joni Mitchell.
