Inni-K (Eithne Ní Chatháin) is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter whose music draws from her background in sean-nós and traditional Irish music, while boldly venturing into new sonic territory.
Her fourth studio album, Still A Day (out 26 Sept 2025 via Green Willow Records), is her most emotionally charged and sonically expansive work to date. Produced by Seán Mac Erlaine, the album weaves Ní Chatháin’s voice and fiddle into ambient textures, hushed jazz motifs, and rich harmonic landscapes—shaping a sound both rooted and radically open. Though sean-nós is absent in form, its spirit lingers in the phrasing and poise that underpins the record.
Her 2022 album Iníon was a contemporary sean-nós triumph, earning two RTÉ Folk Award nominations and being named a Top of the World release by Songlines. Earlier releases The Hare & the Line (2019) and The King Has Two Horse’s Ears (2015) established her as a vital voice in Irish songwriting.
Known for powerful live performances, Inni-K has played Irish Arts Center (NY), Centre Culturel Irlandais (Paris), Symphony Hall (Birmingham), and National Concert Hall (Dublin). In 2025, she is Traditional Artist in Residence at UCC and tours Ireland this autumn in support of Still A Day.
