Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, Interstate are an experienced and versatile four-piece band, established in 2013.
Formed through friendship, Interstate is the brainchild of four like-minded musicians who cut their teeth playing extensively in Scotland’s club circuit. Through their vast studio and live experience, working with a variety of different artists, they began to offer their services as a rhythm section for hire.
Interstate prides itself as being a band with a diverse sound, combining their varied musical tastes and styles to write music which is not only engaging, but that also pays homage to the musical influences that originally inspired them.
Their own extensive performing experience - which has seen them individually share bills with artists such as KT Tunstall, Adrenaline Mob, The Kaiser Chiefs and The Who among others - also contributes to their embracing of various different styles of music.
