Isea

Isea has had a love for music since her mother taught her how to push the button to turn on the car radio, and both her parents would sing to 90s Hip Hop & R&B while making breakfast on Saturday mornings. Singing since she was 8 years old, she felt as though she had a calling to music. Isea picked up guitar at 13, and ever since then has been performing within her hometown of North Bergen, New Jersey, but mainly writing music right from her bedroom. Her mother created the name ISEA which comes from putting all of her initials together. Coming from a Latin household, her music is influenced by different artists, ambiences, and aesthetics, but R&B and Soul music lights the fire for her. Isea’s EP Universe Ready is her first work released on multiple platforms which took over a year to create. In February of 2023, she was given the opportunity to open for Doechii and Earl Sweatshirt at Terminal 5. Sophia plans on delving further into her passions and continuing to make art for the love of it all.
