Best known as the winner of the first season of the casting show The Voice of Germany, singer Ivy Quainoo was born in Berlin in 1992. Coached by <a href="spotify:artist:1sICjVlCMOCah0snHXWUz0">the BossHoss</a> members Hoss Power and Boss Burns, Quainoo beat Kim Sanders, Michael Schulte, and <a href="spotify:artist:224CDJhbm230iSo9ZomTWe">Max Giesinger</a> in the show's finale in February 2012 with her rendition of "Do You Like What You See," a song written by Djorkaeff, Beatzarre, and Sylvia Gordon. The track was released as a single only one week after the finale and managed to reach number two on the German charts.
