Izze is a songwriter, rapper, and former worship leader based in Atlanta, Georgia. He first hit the Billboard charts as a songwriter with "We Are Waiting," a song recorded by Uncle Reece featuring Casey J. It made the Hot Gospel Songs chart in early 2016. Just a few months later in June, he appeared as a featured artist with Sy-One on another contemporary gospel single, Tay Collier's "Image." That same month, Izze released his own debut single, a hip-hop reworking of the Andraé Crouch hit “Let the Church Say Amen" called "Amen!" It was produced by Jor’Dan Armstrong and Jeshua “TedyP” Williams.
