Formed by a quintet of R&B, pop, and gospel songwriters, singers, and producers from across the U.S., KlarKent is a contemporary gospel group with an R&B radio-friendly sound. <a href="spotify:artist:2bTfKyEM0bSDqmDcZybqzH">Isaac Carree</a>, LaShawn Daniels, <a href="spotify:artist:6wdhLdGOBDdbvnA5vLJmh3">Eric Dawkins</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3QWfvHfgKRfPoVuDTkomGM">Gerald Haddon</a>, and Adonis Shropshire started working together under the moniker in 2010 and saw KlarKent's television debut with an appearance on the BET series Lift Every Voice in 2011. Each maintaining a busy music career of his own in places as far-spread as Los Angeles, New Jersey, and Atlanta, Georgia, there were starts and stops to the project until, in early 2016, the group released the single "Oh My God" featuring Christian rapper <a href="spotify:artist:3fn8lZLy7Q61AXCWWPYC4B">Derek Minor</a>.
