Jason Nugent (born December 29, 2001), better known as JGroove is an American rapper and songwriter. Native of Paterson, New Jersey, where he was born and raised. JGroove grew up surrounded by his father who also was a talented musician. He began rapping at the tender age of 9 and with the help of his father mastered the art of song writing. His musical influences include the likes of Meek Mill, Nas, Damian Marley & Nipsey Hussle. JGroove lives for music, and with his gritty lyrics and melodic flow, JGroove talent was quickly recognized. In 2019, disaster struck and JGroove lost his best friend and fellow rap group member. Rather than bury himself in grief and depression, he vowed to honour his friend by ensuring their musical dreams were achieved.
