J Gulli

Born Wayne Price in Chicago, Illinois. He inherited his musical talents from his father who sang as a natural baritone, and his mother who studied the piano as a child. So he combined his father and mother's first names as a tribute to them. Thus, 'J Gulli' the artist was created. J Gulli is an Independent Multigenre Singer-Songwriter, Musician, and Producer. At an early age, he found himself beating on anything that created a ring tone. From bottles to cans, using spoon and fork handles for sticks, he was able to create complete melodic compositions. Overtime, he added percussions and a drum kit. But once he heard the bass line to 'Sex Machine' by James Brown, J Gulli became grounded in Soul, Funk, and RnB music. While his sound continues to evolve, you can still hear that oldschool vibe in his music today. To his credit, he has released 4 solo albums, 2 EPs, multiple single releases including, 'Rise Up With Me' which was signed to a Distribution deal with Sony Orchard/White Lion Audio Record Label in 2020. His single release entitled 'You've Got That Walk About You' was in the top 10 for twelve consecutive weeks on Black Planet Radio's RnB Top 10 Chart in Italy 2021. J Gulli has also benefited from several collaborations such as 'Put Your Mind At Ease featuring Guitarist Jerry Knight' formerly of Ray Parker jr and Raydio. He released his 4th album entitled 'The JG Xperience' in May 2024. J Gulli Music is available on all platforms worldwide.
