In 2013, after releasing 2 full length albums, Jack (County) stepped off the stage, not knowing if he would return to the country music scene. Feeling as if the country music culture was compromising his values, Jack took a step back and reconnected with himself. He got married, became a father, became a nurse practitioner, and took an “extended vacation” from music. Once he realized that he had many more stories to share, he began writing songs again and reconnecting with friends including Michael Smith (producer/guitar) and Justin Robinson (Drums). In 2021, Jack County’s song collection officially reopened for business, and he began pursuing his dream once more.

This time, Jack’s music is different. He’s here to tell stories that resonate with others. He has nothing to prove. He continues to write, record, and perform for the love of music. With the help of his friends and bandmates, his mission in music is to make people feel seen, heard, and understood. And that’s exactly what he’s going to do.

Jack County’s music journey may be unconventional, but his passion is back with a blaze. He looks forward to releasing new music in 2022 and beyond.
