Jack is known for his unique sound—both vocally and on the guitar. He writes a wide range of music, from stirring ballads to jazz-flavored adult contemporary, to the funky, bluesy music of his band, Rogues on the run. The Rogues are currently playing the Jersey Shore and have played many local venues, festivals, and have opened for BB King. They currently have a retrospective “Best Of” album out entitled “1996-2015.” Check it out and all of Jack’s music on jackhobanmusic.com, Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud. 
Previously, Jack was co-founder, with Gene McCormick, of "Jersey Blue" (Bernard Purdie on drums). Before that he was a member of Philadelphia-based "Windfall," who opened for KISS.
