Roberto Tola is an international critically acclaimed multi awarded Italian guitarist, composer and arranger. He began playing the guitar at the age of 6 and in his 40 years long career has toured, performed and/or recorded with top class musicians, including Billy Cobham, Tom Harrell, Carla Bley, Steve Swallow, Andy Sheppard, Norma Winstone, Richard Galliano, Shakatak, Jill Saward, Bill McGee, Bob Mintzer, Eric Marienthal, Scott Wilkie, Bill Sharpe, Tim Collins, Najee, Paul Taylor, Paula Atherton, Rocco Ventrella, Andrea Tofanelli, Giovanni Amato and many more. After a life as a sideman, he started his solo career in 2017 and already produced four albums. He has been candidate to the Grammy Awards several times, and got many outstanding international achievements and awards, so as reaching the top of many music radio charts all around the world. He is one of the most representative exponents of the crossover jazz genre, a blend of jazz, jazz funk, fusion and latin jazz. Actually Roberto has released his 5th album titled JJAZZ JUNCTION out from May 29, 2025.
