Jack started producing from his bedroom on the banks of the river Mersey in Liverpool, at the age of 13. Throughout his teens he uploaded his beats to Youtube, which saw him build a following of fans and artists waiting avidly on his next beat upload, with artists such as, Songer, D Double E, Octavian, Rubii and Blueface using his beats organically.
However in 2021, Marlow set his sights on carving out his own artist project and began releasing a signature brand of house and garage music, designed as much for easy home listening as it is for dancefloors. Sitting in a middle ground of sonics, Jack refuses to be defined by a single genre and is inspired by artists in the garage mould of Sammy Virji as much as the hard house mould of Kettama. Fans often describe a feeling of nostalgia mixed with modernity emanating from Jack’s music.
Fast forward to the current day and Jack is a pioneering name in UK dance music with tracks like “Who do u” and and “Pressure FM” propelling him to millions of monthly listeners on Spotify, a feat worth noting Jack has achieved entirely and intentionally as an independent artist. Now, still just 23 years old, Jack is playing shows all over the world, and has further calibrated his brand of dance music so that it appeals to the heads as well as intriguing a commercial audience.
