After the dissolution of his previous band TV Ghost (In The Red Records) and many contributions to other artists/projects, Jackson VanHorn's musical craft came into its own on the debut full length, After The Rehearsal and sophomore release, A Silent Understanding.
The Indianapolis based musician often merges artistic inspiration with philosophical attentiveness, lyrically drawing from the world around him as well as film, literature, and visual arts.
Musically, VanHorn channels an array of influences; ranging from singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen, post-punk outfits Joy Division and The Sound, shoegaze pioneers Slowdive, and legendary composer Ryuichi Sakamoto.
