Jacob Bryant grew up in the North Georgia mountains, where he picked up his first guitar at just 8 years old. Raised on bluegrass, gospel, and Southern roots music, Bryant began playing in church and serving as a youth leader long before he ever stepped onto a major stage.
After high school, he hit the road chasing a career in country music, but tragedy struck on New Year’s Day 2010 when he received the call that his mother had passed away. What followed were years marked by loss, addiction, heartbreak, and hard living—struggles that fueled fan-favorite songs like “Save My Soul,” “This Side of Sober,” and “Pour Whiskey On My Grave.”
Bryant’s raw honesty connected with listeners nationwide, leading to major career milestones including co-writing the RIAA-certified hit “Out There” with Luke Combs, performing at the iconic Ryman Auditorium alongside Dolly Parton, and making his Grand Ole Opry debut in February 2022.
But behind the scenes, the battle was still real.
Now sober and grounded in his faith in Jesus Christ, Jacob Bryant returns with a renewed purpose and a new sound he calls Outlaw Christian Music—a gritty blend of country, rock, and gospel truth aimed at bringing hope to those battling addiction, anxiety, depression, heartbreak, and hopelessness.
“This isn’t about being perfect,” Bryant says. “I’m just a vessel now. If something I sing helps somebody find God or gives them hope, then it’s all worth it.”
