Formed in 2010 in Jackson, MS and aptly branded "Southern Sleeze Rock” by their fans, Framing The Red is the antithesis of modern Rock and their Classic Southern Rock heritage. Forerunners of the southern rock revival, FTR hone their sound by consistantly performing over 200 shows a year all across the country and sharing the stage with acts such as Motley Crue, Sevendust, Black Stone Cherry, Quiet Riot, Hinder, Kid Rock, Wayland, and 10 years.
FTR has performed at festivals such as Rocklahoma, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, the Steel Horse Rally, the Louisiana Mudfest, and Oklahoma City Hemp Fest to name a few.
FTR is influenced by Mississippi blues musicians like Robert Johnson, R.L. Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, and John Hurt. They also give due to the pioneers of southern rock; Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Black Oak Arkansas, and the Allman brothers.
