Jacob Evans

Hailing from NorthWest Georgia in a town called Rome, country singer-songwriter Jacob Evans shares stories from his life in a southern town, the pains of loss and heartbreak, and falling in love. Shown in his debut EP - this new to Nashville artist has a special way of bringing you into stories that are nostalgic, healing and easy. The musical through-line is proudly country: heartfelt, passionate, and smooth to the soul.

Jacob has been encouraged to turn to music since he was a kid. Son of a landscaper and artist, creativity ran rampant at home. At the age of 14, Jacob’ family moved to Antigua, Guatemala. It was overseas that Jacob began playing live. While covering John Mayer… he found that he had songs to write. Although life hasn’t always dealt him the cards he had hoped, he is proud of his roots and committed to making music that amplifies the stories around him.

At age 18, Jacob’s mom died overseas on the mission field. His debut EP, “Not Good At Goodbye” is about the the shock of his loss, the struggle of still coping 10 years later, and things he never got to say.
