Jade Talbot is a young singer/songwriter hailing from Naarm (Melbourne), Australia. Jade’s music hints at a number of styles but never conforming to just one. Drawing from her roots of pop and soul music and infusing it with her knowledge of jazz harmony. Jade has recently released her debut 5-track EP ‘You Feel Like…’ available anywhere you stream music. Jade’s ethereal, flexible vocals draw inspiration from the likes Amy Winehouse, Lianne La Havas and Melbourne’s own Hiatus Kaiyote and Courtney Barnett. Her honest and raw songs seek to make sense of the world around her, from the universal, to the mundane. The result is a beautifully produced EP that blends jazz vocals with a pop sensibility and the grooves of Melbourne’s nu-soul scene.
