Jardine Cherelle Legere, known as Jadel Legere, is an independent recording artist, singer, songwriter, pianist, and proud mother from Trinidad and Tobago. Fusing Soca, R&B, Dancehall, and Afropop, she delivers dynamic, soulful music that shares Caribbean culture globally. Her musical journey began at nine in school and church choirs, and after moving to the U.S., she performed with Caribbean bands Surface and Traffik. In 2014, she co-wrote Machel Montano’s hit “Haunted” with Kernal Roberts.
In 2016 Jadel earned the Carib Breakout Artiste Award and a European tour. Singles like “Round N Round,” “Dominate,” and “Jam Day” propelled her to the Soca Monarch Finals and International Semifinals, with performances alongside Kes The Band. Under JP Music Group, she released her debut album Call Me Jadel (2020), featuring fan favorites and R&B/Soca fusions.
Hits like “Deserve It All” (2021), “Yuh Man,” and “Up In D Party” (2022) earned millions of streams and BET features, with tours across North America, Europe, and Asia. In 2023, she released “Shake Up” with Demarco, headlined international stages, and received a Caribbean Music Awards nomination. Her 2024–25 releases, including “Addictive” featuring Charly Black and Carnival hits “Jam Somebody” and “Fitness,” solidified her as a rising Soca star.
