Last updated: 1 day ago

One of the most exciting rising voices in music right now, Jai’Len Josey weaves a vibrant, vulnerable patchwork of sounds and experiences together in her music. All kinds of romantic happenings and mis-happenings replay across a soundscape steeped in styles of R&B, hip-hop, Detroit House, and even musical theater. This kaleidoscope of sounds projects her personality out loud not only as a talented musician but also as a confident woman, an impassioned poet, and a visionary creator. She comes from shining on Broadway as “Pearl” in The SpongeBob Musical: Live on Stage! to signing with Sony Music Publishing, to now launching a successful solo career. She sharpened an incomparable signature style on Illustrations EP [2020] and SOUTHERN DELICACY EP [2023], and has emerged as an in-demand songwriter, penning songs on Ari Lennox’s Age/Sex/Location, including the certified-platinum “Pressure,” and working with the likes of Rod Wave, Armani White, Xavier Omär, & more. Moreover, she is one of Spotify's 2026 Artist's to Watch and has received acclaim from Billboard, VIBE, NME, ESSENCE, Okayplayer, and more. Now, she seamlessly wraps all of her emotions and experiences into one cohesive body of work on her major label debut LP, Serial Romantic [Def Jam Recordings].
