The saxophonist Jakob Dinesen ,one of Denmark’s best known jazz-musicians both recognized for his passion for open adventurous music and his deep love for poetic beautiful ballads.
Jakob Dinesen has played with the elite within jazz and pop and beyond for the past 30 years, including Hugo Rasmusssen, Jakob Bro , Thomas Helmig, Thomas Blachman, Kira Skov and countless others. "Dino" has won many awards, including for his releases with international stars such as Paul Motian, Tony Allen, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jeff “Tain”Watts, Eddie Gomez and Manu more.
He has won Music Awards for the year's best jazz album twice and received many accolades such as the Bent Jædig prize, the Palæ Bar prize, the jazz par prize, the Roager prize.
