Jakus has established himself as a pivotal embodiment of talent within the urban music scene in the North for a number of years, broadening his artistic abilities throughout his incredible journey. Having shared the stage with some of the biggest artists in the country, such as Krept and Konan, Aystar and Mist, Jakus has proved his charismatic and invigorating performance style brings a certain energy that has resonated with crowds and electrified live shows. Originally hailing from London, having moved to Bradford, West Yorkshire as a teenager, Jakus effectively personifies the dark gritty culture of the North through the dark and experimental Trap and R&B styles within his music. Using melodic vocal tones, impactful rap style and emotive lyrics, to share his unique story through a modern and experimental sound, as heard in his late 2019 project ‘Understand’.
