You may not be familiar with the name James Doman yet, but you’ll almost certainly have heard his work. After spending the last decade building a hugely successful career as a producer, DJ, songwriter and mixer for some of the world’s biggest acts, James is putting himself back centre stage after signing with BMG to release his own brand-new music.
Over the last ten years James has racked up an enviable CV of production and remix credits, including hit songs by Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Kelis, Michael Jackson and many more, often under different guises.
Beyond the commercial pop sphere, James is highly regarded among renowned DJs. Across his career he’s worked with Tiesto, Axwell, Steve Angello, Tom Rowland from The Chemical Brothers, Steve Lawler and Deep Dish; and performed alongside international heavyweights David Guetta, Danny Tenaglia and Bob Sinclar.
After a decade working behind the scenes in the music industry, James’ new ambitions are focused on him being in the spotlight. The goals, he explains, are to "turn one of my projects into a live act, with visuals, live keyboards and vocalists”, as well as landing a handful of Top 10 hits before moving into scoring music for films. Given his track record so far, expect to see all this and more sooner rather than later.
