Ibiza-based DJ Carl Kennedy was - in 2001 - the co-creator of the infamous Great British House (GBH) parties at Centro-Fly in New York, which cemented his reputation on the NY House scene; sharing the stage with acts like The Chemical Brothers, Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim, Mark Ronson, Roger Sanchez, and Erick Morillo.

GBH also proved to be the launch pad for Carl’s first forays into music production with a slew of club staples including ‘The Love You Bring Me’ on Roger Sanchez's Stealth imprint and in 2006 ‘Ride The Storm’ featuring rock vocalist Roachford both of which earned Essential New Tune accolades from Pete Tong on his Radio 1 show.

In the subsequent years Carl maintained a steady stream of releases across such notable imprints as Subliminal, Pacha, CR2, One Love and his own Wasted Youth label. In 2016 he partnered with long time touring cohort Steve Lee on the Just Us moniker, announcing themselves with their revamp of Kate Bush's ‘Cloudbusting’, with the record exploding and earning them ‘Hottest Record In The World’ honors from Annie Mac, a Danny Howard ‘Future Anthem’ award, Radio 1 Dance Chart #1, DMC Buzz Chart #1 and a top 5 placing in Shazam’s UK Future Hits Chart – all as an unsigned ‘white label’. Various releases followed over the years across Polydor, Armada and Island Records, but Carl takes centre stage once again with his 2020 release ‘Is This Love’.
