Jamie's Guns is a Texas Southern Rock band that has pushed past the normal expectations of Rock and Texas Country! You can find hints of Blues, Texas Country, Alt Country and Psychedelic Rock in the bands music. With a lot of catchy lyrics and melodies you can't help but bang your head!
Founding members Gregory Mitchell Wilson and Cameron Russell started the band in early 2019. They self produced “Good For You” and “Tell Me” which would be the bands first two singles. The band would then release their debut self-titled album “Jamie’s Guns” on January 1st, 2020. This album would feature Skylar Hollister on backing vocals.
Jamie's Guns first album contains more of a Texas Country and Blues Rock vibe verses their second Hard Blues / Southern Rock album.
The band has just released their second album "SDWW". This album features new members Chandler Chick on drums and backing vocals along with Coty Millsap on backing vocals. The lovely Skylar Hollister also makes a return on this album.
Cameron Russell is also credited for recording and producing GMW’s Texas Country acoustic EP "Fall Forward" which released January 26th, 2022.
