Janna is the solo project of Philadelphia-based sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist Johanna Baumann. After earning her B.F.A in media arts and sound engineering at University of Michigan’s School of Music, Johanna settled in Philadelphia and began working at Headroom Studios, where she recorded her debut, “starting gun,” released in January 2021.
